The original idea that I had in mind for the canvases fell through. Ok, I changed my mind. I found some wooden inspirational words and decided to use them in my family room. This idea from Pinterest was part of my inspiration.
Materials:
4 - 11x14 canvases (they come in two packs at Hobby Lobby on sale for $5.99)
acrylic paint in your choice of colors (I used Cafe Au Lait and Aqua)
paint brush
hot glue gun and glue
Step 1: Paint your wooden words and canvases. It took me two coats of aqua for the letters. The canvases took 4 coats to get a nice even look to them. Be sure to wait an hour or so between coats.
Step 2: Hot glue words to canvases.
**Please be on the look out for the finished family room wall. It's almost done!
